Princes trust

The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps young people aged 13 to 30 get into jobs, education and training.

The Service:

Fairbridge:

Our Fairbridge programme offers you a mix of group activities and one-to-one support to develop the skills and confidence you need to move forward.

Starting with a five-day Access course, you’ll get the chance to do outdoor adventurous activities, as well as take part in a residential trip.

Once the Access course is complete, you can choose from lots of different activities from sports to drama and photography to cooking. We’ll work with you to help reach your goals.

Age: 16-25

Get Started:

If you’re 16-25 and out of work, education or training, we’ll give you the chance to take part in a week of activities with help from inspirational experts. Working with partners including the Premier League, ASOS and Sony, you’ll work towards a group challenge while developing your skills and confidence.

What’s more, it’s completely free and won’t affect your Jobseeker’s Allowance. We’ll even throw in lunch and cover your travel expenses.

We wrap up the course by celebrating everything you’ve achieved with a special event. It’s a great way to finish the course – with your new friends – and you’ll be able to invite family and friends to join in with you.

Get Into:

If you’re not in work, education or training and live in the UK, we can give you the chance to gain work experience and receive training in a specific sector through our Get into programme. We'll also focus on your employability skills to help you move into a job after the course.

With programmes running in a number of sectors - including retail, construction, logistics and hospitality - you'll spend time training on the job and gain valuable work experience in your chosen sector.

In order to give you the best chance of getting a job after the programme, we run courses in sectors where we know jobs are most likely to be available.

The course is completely free and won’t affect your Jobseeker’s Allowance. We'll cover your travel costs, and may be able to support with lunch and childcare costs during the course.

Age: 16-25

Enterprise:

If you’re aged 18-30, living in the UK, and unemployed or working fewer than 16 hours a week and have a business idea or some ideas to explore, then we can help with the rest.

From beauticians and barbers to digital agencies and dog groomers, we can help you to transform your idea into a watertight business plan, as well as support you with a fantastic package of training and funding.

You’ll also get to meet other like-minded people and be able to tap into the expertise of an experienced business mentor who will be on hand to provide you with advice every step of the way – for up to two years.

This really could be you!
